I can not get my air rifle blind field!?
I have a BSA 3-9x40 mm scope mounted on a Gamo Hunter Air Sport rifle. I put a laser bore sight in the barrel but for some reason not crosshairs can get down to meet laser point. The problem is that the laser is always lower than the crosshairs. What could be the problem? I am objective observation is approximately 100 or 110 meters from my position.
Drop laser bore sighter. You have one option, if you shot a round costs $ 3 or more. Mount scope. Tighten all screws. Airgun shoot about 5 times in 10 YDS. Say it is firing 1 "high and 1 inches left. The range is likely 1 / 4 MOA. Turn right windage 40 clicks. You may want to shoot another 5 times double check if you know left from right. Leave it high since this is probably will decline at 20 YDS. Move view up to 20 YDS. Shoot 5 more photos and make the final adjustment its scope. 5 clicks to move at the point of impact 1 / 4 inch by 20 yards. If you want you are blind at a distance farther, move the end of that range to shoot and after 5 rounds and see what happens.
